Visual Design | Media Production
Teaching undergraduate level courses in visual design, media production, design thinking and human-centered design at the Media School, Indiana University Bloomington. Teaching includes syllabus development, lectures, lab sessions on using Adobe design and media production tools, training students to play board games, leading discussions on media-related topics and assignment grading.
Teaching philosophy focuses on reflection in action, cultivating a personal design repertoire and application of design principles in media practice. Students come from a variety of media specializations that include game design, interactive digital media, human centered computing, advertising, journalism, and public relations.
